The APACenter Has Closed
Sadly, after serving the Austin and surrounding communities since 2007, we have decided to close the APACenter. If you are looking for psychological services, we recommend that you contact some of APACenter former Austin psychologists at their new practice, Capital Area Psychological & Evaluation Services, or CAPES. If you are trying to reach Dr. Mike Brooks, he can be reached through his website of www.drmikebrooks.com.
The information below about the APACenter is being kept for legacy purposes.

We provide compassionate care and effective therapy to help you achieve your goals.

Our client care coordinators, Paige and Diane can help you to find the right psychologist or therapist to match your needs. They are very knowledgeable about the services and therapy styles of each practitioner. Whether you are looking for therapy, parent consultation or an assessment, Paige and Diane can help you find the right practitioner to fit your needs and schedule.
Sometimes you may not know if you are needing therapy or an assessment. Either of these start with a 1.5 hr. consultation with the practitioner to find out which direction is best for you. If you and the psychologist decide that an assessment is the right direction, then the cost of that initial consultation is applied to the cost of the assessment. Or, if therapy is the right road for you, regular sessions with the psychologist or therapist are one hour each.
