“Have a bias toward action-let’s see something happen now. You can break the big plan into small steps and take the first step right away”

About Ruthie Pace
I have always had an interest in teaching others to learn how to behave in ways that make that individual have a better quality of life. I have spent years working with clients in one-on-one settings, in which improving behavior and clients’ skills was the goal of therapy. As I was working on my master’s thesis, I became very interested in general learning operations and methodologies to make learning more efficient across all learning populations. Through this understanding, I developed a hopeful outlook on behavioral change. I found that the key to changing how people feel, is in changing what they do. I believe in creating uniquely tailored programs for each client based on their individual needs. As your personal behavioral coach, I will strive to help you develop new forms of responding to your everyday and ongoing challenges and, ultimately, have these skills internalized so that you have to tools to overcome these challenges on your own.
Regardless of our backgrounds, our daily lives are filled with challenges that come from the environment that surrounds us. Our environment includes the obligations we must meet at work and while navigating complex social interactions with friends and family. When we meet these challenges, we experience fulfillment and growth. However, for many of us, the struggle to meet these daily challenges is overwhelming. My approach is to help you to more clearly understand the difficulties you face in life, and then to develop the skills necessary to overcome them and achieve your goals. By partnering with you to discover the relationship between your environmental demands and your efforts to meet these demands, we will develop new strategies and skills to help you achieve the success that you desire. My training and professional experience enable me to effectively work with you to finely tailor a treatment plan that works with your specific needs; and also allows you to understand how it’s working.
